바다를 꿈꾸다.

바다는 우리 모두의 삶이 깃든 풍경이며, 그 자체로 우리의 존재 이유입니다.

가슴 한구석에는 늘, 형언할 수 없는 아련한 그리움이 바다의 물결처럼 잔잔히 각인되어 있습니다. 여행길에서 만난 바다는 황홀한 아름다움과 깊은 행복을 선물하지만, 눈물짓던 날의 바다는 그 슬픔을 고스란히 품어 영원한 기억으로 남습니다. 바다는 삶의 간절한, 희망의 반짝임, 아련한 그리움, 그리고 뜨거운 사랑까지, 인간의 헤아릴 수 없는 감정들을 말없이 담아내는 그릇입니다.

저는 이러한 감정들을 정리하고 사진이라는 매체를 통해 대중과 소통하고자 합니다.

때로는 아스라한 안개처럼, 때로는 눈부신 푸른빛처럼 그리움이 넘치고, 때로는 생업을 위해 나아가야 하는 현실적인 터전으로서의 바다... 바다는 수많은 이야기의 시작점입니다.

이 작품을 통해 대중은 바다의 무수한 조각들 속에서 자신의 감정과 마주하고, 그 파편들이 서로 교차하는 경험을 하게 될 것입니다. 결국 대중의 마음속에는 ‘대중만의 바다’라는 공통점이 남습니다. 이는 위로와 희망을 주는 바다라는 대중적 시각으로 존재할 것입니다.

Dreaming of the Sea 

The sea is a landscape where all our lives reside, and in itself, the very reason for our existence. In a corner of our hearts, an indescribable, faint longing is always gently engraved, much like the rolling waves. The sea encountered on a journey gifts us with ecstatic beauty and deep happiness, while the sea from our tearful days embraces that sorrow entirely, leaving it as an eternal memory. The sea is a vessel that silently holds the countless, unfathomable emotions of humanity—from the earnest sparks of hope and faint longings to passionate love.

 I wish to organize these emotions and communicate with the public through the medium of photography. 

A sea where longing overflows—sometimes like a hazy mist, sometimes like a dazzling blue light—and at other times, a realistic cradle of life where people must venture out for their livelihood... The sea is the starting point of countless stories.

 Through this work, the public will confront their own emotions within the myriad fragments of the sea, experiencing a moment where those pieces intersect. Ultimately, what remains in the minds of the audience is a common ground: "a sea of their own." This will exist as a universal perspective—a sea that offers comfort and hope.
