In the Golden Autumn, When Sunsets Are Even More Beautiful

Sunset is not only the time to close the day, but also a moment to prepare for a shining tomorrow. Just as we harvest the crops nurtured through spring and summer to endure the winter, I have gathered fragments of sunsets carefully stored in my photo archives and compiled them into this book to be enjoyed throughout the winter.

The sunset is a familiar sight to everyone. Yet, the sunsets differ—the one in my mountain hometown, where the crimson sky rests briefly on the ridges before darkness falls, carries a sense of longing and nostalgia like the embrace of my mother. In contrast, the sunsets over the sea where I now live glow in pink and violet hues beyond the horizon, bringing a calm yet moving sense of peace.

Drawn by the beauty of these sunsets, I captured them with my eyes, my heart, and my camera. The photographs in this collection portray the many faces of ordinary, yet diverse, sunsets.

May this melody of sunset light, a precious gift from nature, offer a moment of peace and comfort—a gentle refuge from the routines of daily life.

노을의 멜로디

노을이 더욱 아름다운 계절, 황금빛 가을에

노을은 하루를 마무리하는 시간이기도 하지만, 

빛나는 내일을 맞기 위해 오늘을 정리하는 시간이기도 하다.

마치 봄, 여름 정성스레 키운 곡식을 가을에 수확하여 겨울을 지내듯이

그동안 사진 파일 속에 차곡차곡 담아둔 노을빛 조각들을 겨우내 볼 수 있도록 책으로 엮어보았다.

노을은 누구나 흔히 볼 수 있는 풍경이다.

석양이 산마루에 걸터앉아 선홍빛 숨을 고르기도 전에 어둠이 내리는 산촌의 노을과,

수평선 너머로 사라져도 보라색으로 빛나는 바닷가의 노을은 비슷하면서도 다른 느낌이다.

산촌이 고향인 나의 유년기 노을풍경은 어머니 품속처럼 그리움과 아쉬움이 많다.

그러나 바닷가에 사는 지금은 늘 변화무쌍한 노을의 분홍빛 설렘과 평온함에 잔잔한 감동을 받는다.이런 노을빛의 끌림에 매료되어 눈으로, 가슴으로 그리고 카메라에 담게 되었고, 

평범하지만, 다양한 노을의 풍경을 사진으로 구성하였다.

아름다운 자연이 준 선물, 노을빛이 들려주는 멜로디로 잠시 일상에서 벗어나 

마음의 평화와 안정을 느낄 수 있는 쉼터가 되었으면 한다.
